Staybridge Suites San Antonio Downtown Convention Center, an IHG Hotel

Everything. If you have an event at the Alamodome, it is the perfect location. Short walk in a completely safe area to the river walk, Tower of the Americas, and Alamo. Hotel staff was amazing. The cleanliness of this hotel was perfection. Great kitchenette’s in room and nice hot breakfast served every morning. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. We will be back!

GPS guided us straight to the property, but we drove past the 15 minute parking area and stopped outside the entry door. No problem, we unloaded our vehicle, then received instructions from the front desk about parking. We were charged only $27 for our three night stay. Using our room card, we were able to access a gated parking lot less than 500 feet from the hotel. Out King room(s) were spacious, and very clean. We could hear the elevator operating during the evening, but it was a minor distraction. Good sized refrigerator, microwave, regular 12-cup coffee maker, sugar, creamer, pots, pans and eating utensils in the kitchen area. Bathroom was clean, shower/tub had rack with complimentary bath gel, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast was good and plentiful, the pseudo eggs, sausage, potatoes, pancakes, oatmeal and fresh fruit. Location was excellent for us retirees…the Alamo was less than a mile’s walk away!

It was a last minute booking after a bad air bnb left us stranded and Adriana and Louisa saw my distress and helped us get settled. Without asking then sent us the extra bedding we needed, we had extra towels and they checked in on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. They also listened to my story and told me they would do what they can to help. All the staff there were super nice including the breakfast ladies! The hotel was clean, breakfast was nice and then washers and dryers were an added bonus.

The whole place was very clean and smelled good, from the lobby to the breakfast area and the rooms. Our room’s kitchenette was smaller than I expected, but the room itself was lovely and very clean. The breakfast every morning was great. We loved the yogurt with the strawberry and granola toppings especially! Our dog stayed very comfortably with us and was welcomed warmly!

Great location next to the Alamodome and 10 minute walk to the Riverwalk. Entry was clean and staff were friendly and polite. Rooms are large with kitchen stocked with dish-ware and utensils. Full size refrigerator, microwave and 2 burner stove. Beds are comfortable and bathroom and shower were clean. Buffet breakfast was good and everyone was friendly and helpful. We were there for the Valero Bowl and fans from both teams, Arizona and Oklahoma were there and got along great. Highly recommend and hope to be back in San Antonio again and will stay there.
